  • Training and Service Co-ordinator

    We are looking for a highly organised, experienced project co-ordinator who can help deliver our therapeutic support programme for Black children in foster care who are being reunified with their birth families (3 days a week), and our specialist training programme for professionals working in child protection (2 days a week).

  • Fundraising Manager (Grants and Trusts)

    We are looking for a motivated and experienced Fundraising Manager who will manage the delivery of our grant fundraising strategy, help us grow our grant income and expand our pool of donors with the aim of enhancing the financial well-being and sustainability of AFRUCA

  • Trustee - Treasurer

    AFRUCA is looking to appoint a Treasurer who will also be a Member of its Board of Trustees. Our Treasurer will have a financial and/or accounting background and will be the lead financial expert on our Board. As a charity seeking to diversify, we want to attract a Trustee/Treasurer who might have a lived experience of our work, who has experienced abuse, exploitation, migration or forced migration.

  • Independent Children/Family Therapists

    We have now appointed suitable Therapists but we are opened to further interests

    We are recruiting an Independent Children and Family Therapist based in London to provide support for children returning home from foster care and their families. The therapist will utilise integrative approaches to support children and their parents to help address anxiety and other challenges related to family reunification.

  • Children's Champion Volunteers

    Always recruiting

    Become a volunteer Children’s Champion by helping to educate your community about different child protection issues. We encourage members of Black and ethnic communities to work with AFRUCA to protect children and prevent abuse and harm.
