Africans Unite Against Child Abuse

Promoting the rights and welfare of African children

Who is Funding Our Work?

AFRUCA currently receives funding for its work through grants, donations from individuals, fees from training and consultancy as well as other in-kind support. We are grateful to all our donors for their continued support for our work with children and young people. Our current donors are:

  • Big Lottery Fund
  • Comic Relief
  • Department for Children, Schools and Families
  • City Parochial Foundation/Trust for London
  • Individual Donors. Many individuals are supporting AFRUCA through monthly or one-off donations.
  • Many private law firms across London are giving us in-kind support through the provision of training venues and refreshments/lunch in their exclusive offices. Their support has helped to significantly reduce the costs of running our training programmes leading to reduced course fees for our training participants. Our private sector supporters include:
    • CMS Cameron McKenna LLP
    • White & Case LLP
    • Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP
    • Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP
