Youths for Africa
is the youth
forum of Africans Unite Against Child Abuse – a not-for-profit
organisation promoting the welfare of African children in the
UK and in Africa.
Our Youth Forum has
been set up to develop the leadership skills of young Africans
age 10 to 16 years living in the UK and encourage them to take
part in how we make decisions within AFRUCA. It will assist
young people to develop the skills to influence government decisions
on issues affecting them. It aims to promote personal development
of young Africans and enable them to have a voice.
AFRUCA is holding
a Consultative Meeting With Young Africans To Discuss The Work
and Focus of its Youth Forum. This will take place on Saturday
April 26 2003 at 2:30pm. Venue is the meeting room at Leroy
House where AFRUCA is based.
